Call on Secretary of State Clinton to Save Christian Pastor in Iran

An Iranian Christian pastor was convicted of "turning his back on Islam" and currently faces execution from an Iranian court.  The Iranian government has a history of executing its citizens before releasing formal decisions to the public and we fear his execution is imminent.

Congressmen Joe Pitts (PA-16) and Heath Shuler (NC-11) are leading a bipartisan effort to save Pastor Youcef. They are sending a letter to Secretary of State Clinton calling on her to “use all the powers at your disposal” for “swift engagement with the international community to advocate for his release.”

His execution could come at any time. Because of the urgency of the situation, please do not wait, urge your Member of Congress to sign the Pitts/Shuler letter now.
